Fundraising

Post  Red Flag Martyrs on Sat Nov 18, 2017 3:10 pm

Please note that there is a fundraising page set up for donations to help the club after we resolve issues on Monday evening;

https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/mtfc-2017appeal

The football world is very supportive of our club especially after the heroic performance at Chesham today so we are receiving donations from all over the UK.

Sinking Fund

Post  Boz1964 on Sun Nov 19, 2017 9:25 am

More will come in from fans ( and business) but the issue of prevention will have to be addressed rather than cure on Monday night.

The funds raised will have to be used wisely once the scale of the problem is determined.

So far it must be said that this is a Herculian effort by those involved, which like those young players is to be applauded.

So I can beat Boz to it...
Can't they collect money rather than buckets?!

Hopefully a bit of cheer at this time. Well done to all for the sterling efforts.

It's chucking it down here in South Wales, so they need all the buckets they can get to stop the pitch getting waterlogged!

Bucket List

Post  Boz1964 on Tue Nov 21, 2017 3:27 pm

Nice one Solihull.

All my attempts at humour 'pail' into insignificance compared to that one.

The valiant efforts from a certain section of fans mean the rescue money is 'flooding' in.

Truly astounding the power of 'social media' and the 'Titanic' effort of these guys to keep the Club 'afloat'.

And of course our 'magnificent seven' players too.

Let's hope the combined effort of all at the Club and the wonderful footballing community out there can plug the hole in the hull and we don't have to abandon the Loadlock Ship.

I sincerely hope this effort is not in vain and ends up in being just a Bucket List.

Optimism and Positivity is on the rise....so hopefully the bucket list will end 'well'.

Statement from Hayes & Yeading:-

50/50 PROCEEDS V BEACONSFIELD TOWN

"To support our non-league family at Merthyr Town FC next week we will be donating our usual proceeds of the 50/50 draw to Merthyr Town. We are all saddened to hear of another club experiencing financial difficulties and hope that with the assistance of all in non-league they can get through their issues and come out the other side in a stronger position. Supporters of both Hayes & Yeading United and Beaconsfield Town are encouraged to dig deep at this match."

The donation of £7k was refunded upon the request of the family as the amount was in error.
A further more realistic donation is expected from the family and will be greatly appreciated.
