Nor Short on Goals

Sounds like a good old fashioned no holds barred full tempo goal fest.

If you are going to go out of a cup....nice to do so with all young guns blazing.

Good experience for the youngsters and game time too.

Who scored for Merthyr?

It would have been a difficult cup tie even if we put our first side out

Good experience being beaten 7. 2 I don't think so ,should have included a couple of experienced players for me.

Unfortunately in at least the last 5 years the number of players progressing into the first team is minimal. The academy lads last season not even deemed to be up to the SPL standard with the team travelling not taking full set of subs when our first team was injured. Is it all going wrong at youth academy level? will we ever see a player break through? are we losing them to other clubs in the Welsh Leagues who can offer regular football certainly food for thought.
