Then how are we suppose to discuss boards matters in a supporters meeting ? there are issues regarding board minutes that require addressing ,if supports are not privy to to board related issue only owners then board minutes will not be allowed in this meeting ?

Wouldn't it make sense to contact the board directly ie; the supporters liaison officers if you have issues with the minutes? Rather than wait for the next members meeting?

No I don't feel that's the way it suppose to work ,the idea of owners meetings are for owners to directly ask questions of the board regarding whatever, I find when people are directly questions in a meeting environment
it is totally different to posing question via other bodies or texting, what seems to have happened since the our financial situation as come to light, supports meetings have taken president over owners meetings, looking at the
statement from the board there is going to be a supports meeting nearly every month, supports will not know what's gone on in board meetings , so the questions posed will be limited, I'm not for one minute suggesting there shouldn't be supports meetings, I feel they should play a huge part in helping the club go forward, but its the owners who should be asking questions relevant to the way the board is conducting the running of the club, I've not seen one date regarding future owners meetings? I believe the supporter liaison officers are there to answer generic questions not to replace the board as far as information is concerned, ownership is an integral part of ensure that the board is living up to its promises and not allow our club to ever again be in a situation where we are financial unstable, openness is the key to our survival its only owners who will have the information to ensure this is carried through.

I do not think we will have as many supporters at meetings held a couple of hours before a match as we did in the last meeting. The meeting will also be limited to time because of the match

Correct me if I'm wrong. One of the outcomes and suggestions from the supporters meeting was the introduction of more supporters meeting which seemed to be unanimously agreed. From what I can gather here, the board seem to be reacting to what supporters (including members) have asked for after a lack of communication recently?

I don't think there will ever be a way of pleasing everyone, same old same old Rolling Eyes

Agree 100%, Owners are kept up to date of matters arising via the Board Minutes & there will be plenty of opportunity for questioning Officers at the next Owners Meeting regarding any relative matters that need clarifying in the minutes.

Perhaps there'll be an opportunity to enquire at the next supporters meeting.

Should the board not do as they've done with the supporters meeting and issue a comprehensive list so owners will be able to have input on board matters

Even if they did I'm sure there would be an issue we can pick out

That's irrespective! the fact is there as been nothing put in place for owners for the near future, that is the issue,
if they can set a agenda for supporters meetings then that should set the same for owners.

I'm not sure if your comment is serious or sarcasm?
So I'll will answer as a owner of which I have been since day one, supports are not prive to what goes on in board meetings ,they don't receive minutes so matters relating to board matters or minutes can not be dicused in a supports metting,
I posted a piece from a section of board minutes on this forum and was berated for quoting board business on a supports site

I've just gone back through the opening statement made by J S in the supports meeting on the 3rd August, the complete statement consisted of board related decisions, now the information given on that night not even owners had knowledge of, there were financial statements made, there were forward plans discussed, so its OK to discuss board decisions in a open meeting sorry gentlemen but I think we are defiantly on thin ice, as stated there is a supporters meeting being held every month until the end of the season yet there is not one owners meeting planned
the owners who decided to socialise elsewhere on match days did so because they felt their voice was not being heard, they still supported the team still spent their money in the club shop and still run the best away travel of any team in non league football yet it seems we are going to be egnored again. One as to wonder if the board want a ownership system.

I have to agree with Doug 100% on this thread.

Today I've received two e-mails from the club - Dear Member, with info regarding the July minutes and info on the make up of the board (Hope I'm not divulging too much info here Imp! lol)

I applaud the club for informing members/owners first
