Popped over to Cinderford last night to see them play Leamington, a match that Cinderford did not deserve to lose. After a bright start from both teams Leamington took the lead after about 11 minutes. Leamington continued to put Cinderford under pressure but Cinderford came back in to the game and were unlucky when Harrhy headed wide of the goal from only a few yards out at the far post. Leamington were somewhat lucky when Breeden the Brakes goalkepper race out of his goal and completely took out a Cinderford player on the touchline lucky to only get a yellow card. Cinderford should have had a penatly shortly afterwards.  In the second half Cinderford came out fired up and Harrhy scored after 1 minute of the start, Giles Cutlan in goal for Cinderford made a good save to push Edwards volley over the bar, Cinderford were again unlucky on 54 minutes when Leamington again took the lead from an own goal scored by the unfortunate Cinderford captain Nelmes who could only slice the ball into his own goal, Cinderford poured forward in search of a goal but it was not to be.
It is not looking good for Cinderford on or off the pitch as with only 5 days to go to their ground inspection a lot of work is still to be done. Good luck to them but when you are down at the bottom you get no luck.
I had a talk to some Leamington fan's and got the impression they are not looking forwards to playing us if we meet in the playoff's.

Thanks for the report Gordon.

Nice to have a guest reporter from Gwent.

Interesting comment from the Brakes guys.

I too hope that we get them rather than Chippenham on that Cheops Pyramidal pitch.

It's not too far for a jaunt for the Last of the Summer crew either.
