Good luck to the martyrs today,we really need a result today if we are to remain in the playoffs.with a very poor run of form recently a result today would do us a lot of good.

Certainly would, but the way I look at it is that in the remaining six games after today we have Cambridge, St Ives and Hayes & Yeading at home and Kings Langley, St Neots and Redditch away.

The main threat to us is Banbury United, and their last six games include Hitchin and Kettering at home and Leamington away (plus Cinderford, Hayes and Stratford all away).

Comparing our fixtures with Banbury's, my view is if they can get more points from their last six than we can from ours then they'll fully deserve to be in the play-offs at our expense.

Imp I completely agree we have a poor run of late with it going down to the wire, whatever happens Merthyr need to shore up our defence but we need an out an out striker for next season.
