Pay what you want

Post  douggolfer on Mon Sep 26, 2016 5:07 am

Nice gesture !!!!! What I don't understand is why the club as seen the Dorchester game as the game to use and not the rearranged Stratford game 15thNovember ????
yes the supports did except the Stratford situation and left the ground in good humor, can anyone shed light if the Stratford supports who shared the same fate as home supports on the night the floodlights failed will receive reduced entry prices for the rearranged fixture ????

Under Southern League rules a replayed game following an abandonment has to be treated like a cup game, in that the proceeds of the game are shared between the two clubs. It is therefore not possible to allow reduced price entry to that game.
Arrangements have been made to compensate Stratford supporters.

Thanks for clearing the issue, don't understand the rule Where a club can charge a reduced fee for a fixture listed match but not a rearranged fixture, seems the southern league have reconfigured rules !!! The F A website states games abandoned before half time vouchers to be issued after half time clubs do not have to follow the procedure
Could not find the ruling on the southern league site appertaining to abandonded matches, but rules are rules
