For what it’s worth:

Tonight’s team:

Garner;
Davies,Baggridge,McDonald,Barrow;
Traylor,Evans,Scotcher,Jenkins;
Reffell;
McLaggon;

Substitutes:
Wright
Tancock
Brown
Hutson
Prosser

As usual in home games so far this season there was a change to a back four, with Curtis McDonald in the side instead of Gethin Jones (injured?). Adam Davies was back, and Ryan Prosser was fit to be among the subs.

Dan Summerfield was in the Stratford side at left wing back.

The kick-off was 6 minutes late for some reason.

After about 5 minutes Stratford appealed for a penalty for handball after a player got past Scott Barrow and his cross was charged down by Rhys Baggridge.

Stratford were looking the livelier team early on, but neither side were able to get through to test the keepers.

The nearest to a goal came after about 21 minutes when a Stratford free kick from 25 yards went narrowly wide.

Our first real chance came after about 33 minutes when a good cross from Adam Davies found Corey Jenkins but the keeper just managed to drop on his header.

We took the lead after about 38 minutes with a good ball down the line by Rhys Baggridge finding Ian Traylor. He put over a cross for Kayne McLaggon to turn the ball into the net from 6 yards.

Man of the half for me was between Curtis McDonald who looked solid at the back winning almost everything in the air, and Elliot Scotcher, starting in a home match for the first time in what seems like ages, and who I thought fully justified his selection.

And that was it. About half way through the interval all the floodlights on the main stand side went out, although the others remained on. I did notice that the lights in Holvey’s tea bar went out, but I can’t be sure about any others, as most in the stand, plus the lights on the pitch side of the new building stayed on. It was announced at 9.10pm that the game had been abandoned.

It’s particularly disappointing that a good goal will count for nothing, and none will be more disappointed with the abandonment than Kayne McLaggon.

No doubt there will be an announcement in due course about admission for the re-arranged game – but of course we season ticket holders are all right, Jack!

Does that mean cheeky win double on MT and Dunstable gets refunded?

We were playing some nice stuff first half, shame. Does anyone know what happened with the lights? I heard power went in the entire surrounding area. Fingers crossed its nothing wrong with the floodlights!

Yes imp it does seem strange that the kick off was late considering both teams and the official's were out on the field early warming up.Maybe we should have a 7 30 kick off and then we may start by 7 45.
