It would be nice to think Edwards Coaches would provide free transport to the re-arranged match in compensation. Hopefully we'll be kept informed about the situation, including whether the club will be liable to any penalty for the postponement, regarding which, I don't know if there are specific rules relating to the Southern League, but the standardised FA rules state:

'In the event of a match having to be postponed and one Club is found to be at fault then
opponents for that match shall be compensated by the Club at fault'

At least the boys should be fighting fit and well up for the game at Cinderford on Monday.

Suspect a fine, unless they can claim an (unlikely) Force Majure. Hopefully no points deduction - that would surely be contestable.

According to St Ives Town's website the match has been re-arranged for Tuesday 20th September.

That's the Tuesday following the FA Cup 2nd Qualifying Round on 17th Sept so there's always the chance if either club is involved in a replay there could be a further re-arrangement necessary.

I always assumed wrongly that there would be a sort of Gentleman’s agreement between all coach operators around the country, that in the case of such an occurrence that is a breakdown in our case on their patch that they may be able to supply a coach for a charge at least to complete the outward journey, so that life can go on? Obviously not.
