Slough Match Programme

Post  Merthyr Imp on Fri Apr 22, 2016 5:15 am

Some highlights from the programme for the last match of the season:

* The 'Memory Lane' match features a visit from Slough in the Conference days played in front of a crowd of over 1300.

* Special article: 'David Tong - a Martyr of '87' looking back on his career and his time with the Martyrs.

* Phil Mack concludes his review of this season's away trips and chips.

* Chairman's Message from Meurig Price.

Plus all the usual features, information and stats for a measly £2.00.

Help the club financially and get your copy at the ground, or contact John Strand and goad him into sending you a copy by post: strand@salisburyclose.fsnet.co.uk

Back issues of this season's programme are also available from John. For previous seasons they may be available from Les Barlow - South Wales Football Programmes and Collectables - lbarlow1@hotmail.co.uk

Tempus Fugit.

Another season has bitten the dust.

Tomorrow sees the last thrilling literary instalment of the 2016 season.

So what will the Summer hold for us Bog Snorkelers?.

No Martyrs Programme for two months?

Well the newly refurbished Webley's and Romans will be the ideal venue to cheer Wales on to European Championship Glory.

There is a 'New Order' afoot to help with my 'World in Motions' in the shape of abroadsheet.

Le Monde or The Times newspaper will have to do as an insect swatter in my 'dunny'.

Let's hope the close season goes by fast and Times Flies.

Get your 'ultimate' programme before they all disappear out of sight

You know it makes sense.

My apologies for there not being enough programmes for today's match. I actually ordered more than for the previous game against St Neots when there was a slightly bigger crowd but I gather they had sold out by 2.40pm.

It should be possible to print more copies, so if you would like one please contact Matthew Davies - email: matthewdavies@merthyrtownfc.co.uk or John Strand: strand@salisburyclose.fsnet.co.uk
