I don't understand why Prosser is a bench player !!!!!! 3 goal's and a performance which showed he is capable of dealing with aggressive back four players ,felt he held the ball well also his passing is as good as any of our starting
11, after last nights performance he deservers a start .
Anyone know why the entrance prices were increased last night.?????

Were they?  I only paid the usual!!!!!

This is what it said on the Match Preview for this game on the club website:

'Admission prices for the final will be £10 adults, £8 over 65s and £1 for U16s.'

I cant understand it either about pross after last night he must surely get the nod now.

I do not understand why reffell is coming under fire for not scoring more goals. There is one player who was signed to score goals for us and at the moment his goals for is nil.He gives hundred per cent but brown as yet to find the back of the net

Always good to see Ryan Prosser score a hat-trick! How many times is that?

Ten apparently, according to the man himself on Facebook.

I wonder if this is the first time a Merthyr player has scored an hat trick in the final of this cup?

we won this cup in 1948 & 1951

Report from the Cambridge News

Two goals in the final 20 minutes saw Histon suffer a 2-0 defeat at home to Merthyr Town in the Evo-Stik League Southern, Premier Division.

Aaron Chapman made his bow in goal for Histon following regular stopper Denzel Gerrar joining the growing list of departures in recent weeks.

However, Chapman was a virtual spectator for much of the first half due to neither side being able to carve out many chances in the wet and windy conditions.

Possession was fairly even, but the best opportunities to break the deadlock in the opening 45 minutes went to the home team.
Sam Ives fired over a long range effort inside the first 10 minutes and then saw a corner caught on the line by Merthyr stopper Glyn Garner.
Histon were dealt a blow when player-assistant manager Dan Gleeson was forced off injury after 35 minutes.
Yet replacement Matty Allan went close to scoring when his shot following neat interplay between Sam Ling and Joe Carden was blocked.
Histon made a bright start to the second half, but were unable to capitalise on it.

And they were punished when a misplaced clearance from Chapman fell to Keyon Reffell, who ran into space and fired low past the goalkeeper to put Merthyr in front after 72 minutes.

Substitute James Bloom wrapped up the win three minutes from time, rifling home after fellow replacement Corey Jenkins' shot was blocked.

The defeat leaves Histon still six points from safety with five games to go.
