Cambrian Heritage Railways 'Football Special'
From the Wrexham FC website

As part of the celebrations of 150 years of the club (Wrexham FC ) and their own 20th anniversary, the Shropshire Reds are joining
forces with Cambrian Heritage Railways at Oswestry station on Sunday 8 June to hold their second 'Football Special' event. Once more
they will be raising funds for Hope House Children's Hospice.

Along with Wrexham, there will be representatives from AFC Telford United, Morda United, Oswestry Boys' and Girls' Club, The New
Saints and Shrewsbury Town. Even Manchester United is represented, in the form of a group which is planning to reconstruct the main
line steam locomotive of that name. Wrex will join Lennie the Lion from Shrewsbury Town and New Saints' Spot the Dog in a mascot
shoot out and there will be a Panini World Cup sticker swap shop for those trying to complete their collections (sponsored by Stan's
Superstores). It is hoped that the Welsh Cup and other silverware will be on display. There will be train rides and refreshments
available, with the high point of the show being be flypast by a Dakota of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and the world
famous Red Arrows. The event runs from 11.00 to 15.00, admission is just GBP1 and accompanied children under 16 free.
