Truro City went into administration last week, following the bankruptcy of their owner, Kevin Heaney. The Salisbury City Chairman, William Harrison-Allan, who is believed to be close friend of Heaney, is looking to set up a partnership between them to take over the Club, using one of Harrison-Allan's company's. His long term aim is to sell off Truro's ground so that a "Stadium for Cornwall" can be built, but this sounds like another of Heaney's dodgy deals which will undoubtedly concern Truro supporters.

When Merthyr Tydfil FC went into liquidation, lots of creditors were left owing money; the estimated debt being £600,000. Theoretically, Merthyr Tydfil FC still owed some former players wages etc going back many years but there was never any chance that they would be paid.
That's what happens in football.
